The Prospektr chatbot can be added to a WordPress website in a few simple steps. There are 2 possible options:
Option 1: Make the chatbot appear on all pages of the website
Option 2: Make the chatbot appear on specific pages of your choice
The following 2 sections explain each option.
Option 1: Make the chatbot appear on all pages of the website
- Login to WordPress using an administrator account.
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard
- From the left side select Appearance → Widgets
- From the widget, either you can click on Custom HTML to select“ Footer Area” in the left side or drag and drop the “custom HTML”into the footer section in the right an side
- Paste the chatbot script in to the “Custom HTML” and save
Option 2: Make the chatbot appear on specific pages of your website
- Login to your WordPress site
- Go to the specific page or post where you would like to add the chatbot.
- Add a new Custom HTML block
- Paste the chatbot script into the Custom HTML block edit area and save the page
Just as simple as that and you will be off to engaging customers and capturing leads on your website.
